Best Skills to Become a Crime Scene Cleaner

Crime scene cleaningr is a strangely relaxing cleaning simulator despite all the blood and brutality. You play as Kovalsky, the mafia's one-man cleaning crew. Whether it's a shootout, revenge, or a classic mafia hit, you're there to clean up the crime scene after the mafia has had its fun. Your job each time is to scrub the place clean, get rid of the evidence, and dispose of the bodies.

As you progress through the missions and pick up the secrets and collectibles, you will gain experience points. With enough experience points, you will reach a level that will allow you to unlock various skills in the Skill T-shirt. While each of the skills is worth acquiring, there are some that are worth unlocking early on Crime scene cleaner.

Best Skills to Unlock in Crime Scene Cleaner

Here is a list of the best skills players can get Crime scene cleaner:

Cleaning speed (I and II)

Crime Scene Cleaner Mop Cleaning Blood

The Cleaning Speed skill, which you get from the Cleaning tab of the skill tree, can make your work extremely efficient. This skill speeds up cleaning with a mop or sponge by 10% at level I and another 10% at level II. While cleaning speed doesn't play a big role in the first mission or two, it becomes more and more important as you progress.

You can collect the Cleaning Speed I as soon as you reach your apartment after completing the mission “Bad Call”. However, to get the “Cleaning Speed II” upgrade, you must invest an additional point in “Extra Mop/Sponge”.

In the Italian Job mission you have to clean an entire restaurant, which becomes easier with this upgrade.

Ambidexterity

Crime scene cleaner double sponge

Dual Wielding is the last upgrade in the Sponge branch of the Purification tab in the skill tree. This means you'll have to put a lot of points into this branch to get this upgrade. But honestly, there are few upgrades in the game as good as this one.

As the name suggests, Dual Wielding allows you to use two sponges at once, allowing you to clean up more of those pesky blood stains before you have to run to the bucket to rinse them out. And since you unlock all the other sponge abilities to make this happen, when you unlock Dual Wielding, you won't need to use your mop at all to clean up the crime scene.

Soap spray attachment

If you're more of a mop type of person, the Soap Spray Attachment is an excellent skill to invest your points in. Like Dual Wielding, this is the last skill in the mop branch. Once you unlock this skill, you'll be able to spray soap onto the surface, making it much easier to remove stubborn stains.

The alternative to this ability, the self-cleaning attachment, allows you to clean the mop once before you have to take it to the wash bucket. Of course, the soap spray attachment is much better. If you don't want to use sponges, get the soap spray attachment.

Foam cannon

You can find the Foam Cannon skill in the Station branch of the Pressure Washer tab in Crime scene cleaner's skill tree. You can unlock it pretty easily as it only costs 3 points and 2 required skills in the branch.

With this upgrade, you can now add detergent to your pressure washer. The pressure washer is a pretty handy tool on its own. But with the foam cannon upgrade, you can complete entire missions without having to resort to any of your other tools.

Clean detergent & power detergent

Both the Clean Detergent and Power Detergent skills can be found in their own branch in the Water tab of the skill tree, and both are excellent upgrades. Cleaning agents are quite strong in Crime scene cleaner and can make your work much more efficient if you know which one to use for a particular situation.

These two upgrades essentially unlock two additional cleaning agents that you can use during missions. The Clean agent slows down the dirtying of the wash bucket and the Power agent allows you to remove stubborn stains faster.

You can find the two unlocked cleaning agents in the “Cleaning agents” section in your tool wheel.

Treasure hunters

For the completionists out there who need to collect every single collectible, it's worth getting the Treasure Hunter skill in the Cleaner Sense branch of the General tab. Your Cleaner Sense (Q) is already a pretty handy tool.

When this upgrade is unlocked, the Cleaner Sense will also highlight valuable items like money, statues, or even cassette tapes that are within range. Considering how money and the other collectibles in the game add to your experience, it will be easier to unlock all of the skills in the game if you choose to become a Treasure Hunter early on.

No cooling

Crime scene cleaner sponge for cleaning blood

Speaking of Cleaner Sense, the only issue players have with this ability is how quickly it depletes. It also has a pretty long cooldown at the base level, which can be annoying when you're scrubbing away the last bits of blood from a surface.

If you want to have the Cleaner Sense always available, it's worth choosing the No Cooldown skill in the General tab. This is the last skill in the Cleaner Sense branch, but since the branch only has a few skills, you don't have to waste many points to unlock No Cooldown.

Ozonator

Crime Scene Cleaner Ozonator

Unlike most tools in the game, you don't get the Ozonator automatically. To use this tool, you must unlock it through the General tab in the skill tree. While most people see it as a sign that it's not that important, unlocking the Ozonator is one of the best investments you can make in Crime scene cleaner.

If you're dealing with an area with a lot of stubborn stains (purple blood stains in Cleaner Sense), place your Ozonator nearby. After a while, the stubborn stains will weaken and you'll be able to wipe them away in one pass. It's a highly efficient tool that's best unlocked before the Short Circuit mission in the game.

The ozonator takes about a minute to completely weaken the nearby blood stain.

Careful steps (I and II)

Crime scene cleaner - bloody footprints

In Crime scene cleanerwhen players walk over bloodstains, they leave bloody footprints everywhere. It's not the end of the world, but it's certainly annoying as it means more work for you.

The Careful Steps skill on the General tab solves this problem. The first upgrade will significantly reduce the number of footprints you leave behind. If you decide to invest two extra points on the Careful Steps II upgrade, you won't have to worry about leaving footprints at all!

The skills mentioned in this manual will improve your cleaning efficiency and make your job as a Crime scene cleaner. Make sure you spend all your points when you are in your apartment, as you cannot unlock new points when you start a mission.
