Berlin – In Berlin-Moabit A man (39) stabbed his 38-year-old partner with a knife on Sunday night. Now an investigation is underway Homicide Squad.

According to a police statement, the couple got into an argument shortly before 1 a.m. in their shared apartment on Lehrter Street.
The 39-year-old is said to have attacked his girlfriend with a knife and stabbed her several times with intent to kill.
Eventually the woman managed to escape into the hallway and call for help. The emergency services took her to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The police were able to arrest the attacker on site. He is due to be presented to an investigating judge on Monday.
The murder squad is investigating the crime and the exact background to the brutal attack. The investigation is ongoing.
