Identities of three people allegedly linked to fatal supermarket shooting sought

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying three people in the investigation into the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old at a supermarket.

According to Capital Region Crime Stoppers, the three people caught on camera are believed to be responsible for a shooting that occurred on June 20, 2023 on the North Acadian Thruway north of Fairfields Avenue.

According to police, 19-year-old Elijah Moore died as a result of multiple gunshots.

According to Crime Stoppers, investigators believe he was the victim of an armed robbery that escalated into a shootout.
