Former two-time AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy will make his CMLL debut at Arena Mexico.
In 2024, All Elite Wrestling has sent several stars to Arena Mexico to perform for their partner promotion CMLL.
From Bryan Danielson and the Blackpool Combat Club to MJF and the Death Triangle, CMLL has benefited from having top talent from AEW.
On 28 August CMLL announced Orange Cassidy will make his debut with the company, teaming with Rocky Romero and reigning MLW Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima against Volador Jr., Ultimo Guerrero and ROH TV Champion Atlantis Jr. at their 91st Anniversary show on September 13th.
The show will also feature former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, who will face Mistico to make his official return to the ring for CMLL for the first time since 1995.
The partnership between AEW and CMLL saw numerous stars transfer, including Mistico, Hechicero, Claudio Castagnoli and others.
Cassidy most recently teamed with HOOK, Mark Briscoe and Kyle O'Reilly to defeat Roderick Strong, Big Bill, Bryan Keith and Chris Jericho on the August 28 edition of AEW Dynamite.
