New app creates “entrance door” to campus – @theU

A new smartphone app brings together all the important components of life on the University of Utah campus.

The OneU app, developed by Stenaverse, was launched this fall with the goal of being a central tool for all U.S. affairs.

“This is an exciting moment on our campus,” said Jeff Labrum, Chief Operating Officer. “With this app, we have moved closer to fulfilling the President's vision for a technology strategy that will provide personalized information and an enhanced experience to every member of our campus community.”

One U is an aggregating app that provides one-tap connections to websites and apps for:

  • CIS
  • @you
  • U-graduates
  • University of Utah Health
  • You belong here
  • U360
  • Navigate U
  • Site plans

Students, faculty and staff who download the app can customize their profiles to include custom content, including campus events and personalized news feeds.

The One U app also provides exclusive access to the new premium Wi-Fi network added at Rice-Eccles Stadium in time for this season's opening game.
