Fatal accident in Luxembourg: investigations still ongoing
The police confirmed on Wednesday that the deceased was from Werl. Apparently he lived in Westönnen. As the investigation into the circumstances of the accident is still ongoing, no further information on the background can be given at this time. The Police Grand-Ducale refers to the Luxembourg public prosecutor's office.
They are also holding back on details. “In order to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident, the police have been called in to investigate,” said prosecutor Diane Klein on Thursday in response to a request from our editorial team. “The public prosecutor's office has requested an autopsy in order to determine the exact cause of death.”
However, the authorities could not provide any information on this – nor on the identity of the accident victim. The man's death has caused consternation in his hometown.
