The gradient is moderate for the first seven kilometers, after which it climbs steeply. 7.5 kilometers from the finish there is a section with an eleven percent gradient, while the last 2.5 kilometers are downright monstrous. This section has a gradient of almost 13 percent and reaches values of up to 24 percent just before the top summit. After this demanding finale, riders finally reach the finish.
